The RBDCPCLR2 report deletes change pointer entries from the database tables. In test mode, only a list of the selected entries is output. Entries are only physically deleted from the database when the test flag is not set.

You can select obsolete and/or processed change pointers. You can also select the change pointers by date and time.
- Processed change pointers are those that were processed within a specified period (date and time). If this flag is set, the processed change pointers are reorganized.
- All change pointers contain those that have not yet been processed and those that have been processed within the specified time period (date and time). If this flag is set, the outdated change pointers are reorganized.
Output
The report outputs the number of change pointers deleted, or the number of those selected in test mode.
Activities
If, during deletion, database problems (overflow of rollback segments, and so on) occur due to the large volume of change pointers, activate the option “Package Processing”.
