RHALTD00 : Legacy Data Transfer

This RHALTD00 report supports legacy data transfer for Personnel Planning data. This presupposes a sequential file with infotype records.

The structure of infotype records in sequential files is as follows:

If an IDOC segment structure (E1Pnnnn; where ‘nnnn’ = Infotype no.) has been set for an infotype in T777D (field “IDOC segment”, T777D-IDOCS), the record is set up in accordance with this structure. If not, the corresponding infotype structure (Pnnnn; field T777D-PPNNN) is used.

Records of infotype 1001 generally have the structure E1P1001.

Exception:

If an additioanl data structure (usually PADmm, where mm = the last 2 characters of the relationship type) has been defined in table T77AR (field P1001-RELAT) for relationship P1001-RELAT7AR-PASUB, then the IDOC segment structure (E1PADmm) maintained for this additional data structure in T77AD is used.

You can access infotype definitions from the Data Dictionary with the reports RHPLDF00 and RHDDIC00.

The file is stored in the Input file area of the logical or physical file name. For more information on logical file names, access the following Customizing step for the Basis application component:Additional Client-Dependent File Name Maintenance.

Report RHALTD00 imports the records from the file and creates a batch input session, which you can process either directly or using batch input processing:

  • Batch input processing:
    • Choose Execute and the relevant function key from the list output, or access the main menu and choose System -> Services -> Batch input .
  • Direct processing:
    • Select the option Process session directly and choose Execute .

Requirements

The dataset must contain all of the records of infotype 1000. Only then can other information be imported in any order that is required.

The dataset must not contain records with workflow infotypes (infotype numbers from 1200 to 1299). Such records are not included in processing.
