The tool is used for the file-based transfer of the configurations of the Security Audit Log and is an alternative to the transfer using the SAP transport system.

In addition to the functions for downloading and uploading profiles, parameters ($KERNEL$) or data management settings ($MAINT$), you can use the ‘SAL-Info’ pushbutton to create a statistical overview of the settings and collected data.
This overview is primarily used to simplify the analysis of problems in the audit log environment, but is also useful for continuous audits.
