Parameter Description

allows the DB6 DBSL library to be notified

Use Cases

Setting the parameter to value RELOAD_OPTPROFILES triggers a reload of DB6 optimizer profiles from table DB6_OPTPROFILE .

Setting the parameter to value RELOAD_DB2DSDRIVER_FILE triggers a reload of the DB2 CLI configuration file /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/db6/db2dsdriver.cfg . This may be necessary after a CLI configuration change — for example, in a DB2 PureScale environment.
