Global directory of an SAP system
Parameter Description
In the central file system of an SAP system, there are a number of directories. The following three directories, for example, are important here:
• DIR_CT_RUN (Central directory for executable files and programs)
• DIR_PROFILE (Central configuration directory)
• DIR_GLOBAL (Central global directory)
The DIR_GLOBAL directory is used for central file storage for an SAP system, and can be used from every instance.
