Global directory of an SAP system
Parameter Description
In the central file system of an SAP system, there are a number of directories. The following three directories, for example, are important here:
• DIR_CT_RUN (Central directory for executable files and programs)
• DIR_PROFILE (Central configuration directory)
• DIR_GLOBAL (Central global directory)
The DIR_PROFILE directory is the central configuration directory of an SAP system. An instance is configured using a profile file stored in the DIR_PROFILE directory.
