Specifies the communication between work process and enqueue server
Parameter Description
Specifies the type of communication with the enqueue server. You can choose whether:
• Communication always takes place using the message server (REMOTE_TASKHANDLER)
• Communication always takes place locally (LOCAL)
• The appropriate communication type is to be selected, depending on whether the work process is running on the central instance or not (OPTIMIZE). This is the default setting and should not be changed.
Caution
If you are using the standalone enqueue server, this parameter must be set to the value REMOTESA.
