Error in Object Editing: Request lock on non-existent task/request
Message no. TK117
Diagnosis
The request locks on the object R3TR DOCT ZLOGIN_SCREEN_INFO cannot be edited because the object is locked by request/task SIDK900123.
The request/task SIDK900123 no longer exists.
System Response
The function terminates.
Procedure
Repeat your function.
If the error occurs again, notify your system administrator.
Procedure for System Administration
The illegal locks have to be removed (table TLOCK). See also SAP Note 999668 – Error message TK117 when changing a repository object.
The resolution is shared in SAP 2537981 – SE13 | TK117 | Request lock on nonexistent task/request,
- Create report ZSLA_DELETE_ORPHANED_TLOCK_2 from the attached SAP Note 2537981.
- Execute the report with the option TEST_RUN for test run, or with unticked TEST_RUN for production run.
- In field TRKORR enter the affected task/request, which is reported in Message TK117, or do not enter a task/request, to repair the issue with all affected transport requests.
