Front-end control SNCAX.DLL not installed

Procedure
Install the front-end control SNCAX.DLL on your Microsoft Windows operating system.
It comes with SAP Single Sign-On 2.0 or higher. For more information, see SAP Note 1943266.
Restrictions
You can use the KERBEROS or SPNEGO transaction without the front-end control. In this case, the consistency check of the Service Principal Names and of the Kerberos User Principal’s password is not available.

Install or update SAP NetWeaver Single Sign-On Secure Login Client 2.0 SP02 patch 03 or higher to benefit from the following features using the SPNEGO transaction in SAP GUI:
- Validation of user name/password of the Active Directory service account used for AS ABAP with SNC/SPNego
- Password change of user name/password of the Active Directory service account used by AS ABAP with SNC/SPNego
- Search all registered SPNs of the Active Directory service account used by AS ABAP with SNC/SPNego
- Search all Active Directory service accounts that also map with SPNs of the Active Directory service account used by AS ABAP with SNC/SPNego
- Validation of Active Directory service account used by AS ABAP with SNC/SPNego by getting a Kerberos token for current Windows user
- Get own Windows domain of current Windows user
- Secure Login Client uses front-end control to manage those operations.
If Secure Login Client is not installed, and the features should be used, an error message will be displayed because the library file SNCAX.DLL is not available.
With SAP GUI 7.30 SP09 or older, a SAP-GUI-Security alert will be raised asking for permission to use Secure Login Client´s ActiveX Control “sncax.dll” with ProgID sncax.SncAx.1 and CLSID: {ABB248DA-8395-4612-9A04-A015BCBDAF5D}. End users shall grant access by pressing “Allow”.
With SAP GUI 7.30 SP10 and higher, this ActiveX Control is added to the list of trusted controls, and no more security alert will be shown.
