Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic. Enter the topic you wish to monitor, then click preview to see the type of results you’ll receive. Some handy uses of Google Alerts include:
• monitoring a developing news story
• keeping current on a competitor or industry
• getting the latest on a celebrity or event
• keeping tabs on your favorite sports teams
1. Go to www.google.com/alerts. Here, i am going to create an alert on SAP VACANCY. You can define the alert type (news, blogs, discussion..), How often (As it happens, daily..), Volume and Deliver to (which is your email).
2. You can have the Google Alerts preview on the same page while creating it. This preview will showing how the Google Alerts are displayed in your email.
3. You can create as many alerts as you can. You can monitor all the Google Alerts at www.google.com/alerts/manage
