The Graphical Form Painter for SAPscript in transaction SE71 is unable to launch, and the error message ‘Graphical Form Painter could not be called’ is displayed.
Solution
SAP GUI version 7.50 and above no longer includes the controls required for the SAPscript Legacy Text Editor by default.
If you still need to use the SAPscript Legacy Text Editor or SAPscript Form Painter, you need to install the additional component, SAPSCRIPT LEGACY TEXT EDITOR.
This component must be installed separately on top of the existing SAP GUI installation. You can download the installer for SAPscript Legacy Text Editor from the SAP Software Download Center.
