Deactivate/activate resolution of IP addresses by host name
Parameter Description
This parameter defnes whether Gateway should implement name resolution for IP addresses. If no resolution is to take place, the IP address is always displayed with the host name.
The name resolution (DNS lookup) is triggered by an operating system call, which can take a long time. This can have a negative effect on response times. Network calls that take a long time can be made visible using the parameter gw/resolve_timeout.
