Use home directory for starting programs
Parameter Description
Determines the directory in which the gateway starts programs:
0: Start in the working directory (/usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE>/work)
1: Start in the home directory (~<SID>adm)
This parameter is not valid for Microsoft Windows. With this operating system, programs are always started in the working directory.
