You have launched SAP HANA Studio, but you encounter the error message “Secure storage is locked.” When you attempt to click on “Unlock,” nothing occurs.
Solution

- SAP Note 3064735 – How to Unlock Secure Storage on SAP HANA Studio
- SAP Note 3022470 – Disable secure storage functionality in HANA Studio
- Go to Secure Storage (SAP HANA Studio -> Windows -> Preferences -> General -> Security -> Secure Storage)
- Uncheck Windows Integration (64bit) flag from Password tab
- Then click “Unlock”
- Follow the instruction in popup
If the steps above did not fix issue of the secure storage being locked please follow the steps below:
- Open SAP HANA Studio
- Go to Secure Storage (Windows -> Preferences -> General -> Security -> Secure Storage -> Content)
- In the ‘Contents’ tab, on the right side below the grid you will see a ‘delete’ button.
- Once this button is clicked the application will restart.
- When reopened you will be prompted to create a secure storage password.
