Open NWA and navigate to the following path, Configuration > Infrastructure > Java System Properties > Show Advanced Properties.
Find your Instance ID, then under Services > Java Mail Client, set mail.debug to True and save.
Navigate to Troubleshooting > Logs and Traces > Log Configuration. In the Trace Location tab, search for ‘mail’ in the Location field. Set the Severity to ‘All’ for the following components:
com.sap.engine.services.javamail
com.sap.engine.services.javamail.library
com.sap.engine.services.javamail.notification.email
Email tracing has been successfully activated. You should now be able to view the traces as expected.
