Bring down the SAP AS JAVA instance. Launch the ConfigTool from below location (example on Windows operating system environment).
\usr\sap\SID\Jxx\j2ee\configtool
Click on Tools and select Edit Secure Store. Click on Change Key Phrase.
Check the AS Java is stopped box and enter the new Key Phrase. Do take note on the key file location. Press OK to save.
You will receive below message saying that the Key Phrase change is successful. You can bring back the SAP AS JAVA online.
