In the ABAP environment system, you can easily find the installed component version from the System > Status or from the transaction code SPAM. Please refer to this article, How to Find SAP Component Version for more details.
But, if you are looking for PI ESR Content patch level, do follow below steps and before that, please ensure you are having the necessary authorization access.
Step 1: Launch the Enterprise Service Builder using the transaction code SXMB_IFR or you can use the following URL to launch it,
http://[HOSTNAME:5xx00/rep/start/sso/Repository.jsp
Step 2: Login using the j2ee_admin.
Step 3: Under Design Objects, double click on the component (as example, SAP_ABA), from the right panel, go to Details tab and look at the Available Support Packages. From the screenshot, the component version for SAP_ABAP is 5.
You can find another example as below, which show us the SFTP ADAPTER is at version 5. Follow the same step 3, to look for other components version.
