In the SAP system, execute the transaction code ESH_COCKPIT. This will bring you to the web browser of Connector Administration Cockpit page. From here, you can do the monitoring and administrate the search object connectors.
Creating Search Object Connectos
Step 1: At the initial page, click on Create.
Step 2: Define the Software Component. Next, select the connector models for which you want to create connectors. This function is intended for creating new connectors only. Connectors that have already been created cannot be processed here.
Step 3: You can check the status of the new search object connectors in the list of search object connectors. The new search object connectors are not ready for indexing until they have the status Prepared .
Activating Search Object Connectors
Step 1: Select the search object connectors, from Actions, choose Schedule Indexing.
Step 2: Select the options Start Immediately and Real-Time Indexing.
Step 3: The indexing will take some time to complete. You can check the completion status from the general tab. You can also check the job log, schedules, categories and administration.
