How to Install SAPWEBGUI Package

Important: The patch level of the SAPWEBGUI package must be higher than that of the currently installed disp+work package (i.e. the downgrade of SAPWEBGUI is not supported).

  1. Check the currently installed version.
  • Use transaction code SITSPMON. You can obtain SAPWEBGUI patch number through the Support Information tab.
  • Use command line.
getsapversion dw_gui.dll

3. Next, open the SAP launchpad website to download the SAPWEBGUI. You can copy from the “updated URL” entry (step from command getsapversion dw_gui.dll). Please filter the selection as per your operating system and use database independent. (** Below screenshot is just the example of SAPWEBGUI file)

4. Once downloaded, extract the SAR files and replace them with the existing files.

5. Once done, you need to restart your SAP system to activate the changes. Next, verify the updated SAPWEBGUI as per the above step 1, via command line or using transaction code SITSPMON.
