Sometimes, you are only listening to the YouTube’s song instead of watching the clip. For that, you want to open other application in your smartphone but, the YouTube apps session will automatically disconnect when other apps is launched. You also want to lock your phone screen and will still be able to listen to the YouTube’s music.
This article is also for those who doesn’t want to download / store songs in their Android phone and prefer to listen via YouTube.
- Head to Google store and download Firefox browser in case you didn’t have it
2. Launch the Firefox browser and open the YouTube URL.
3. With Firefox open, click the three-bar settings option at the upper right corner. Tick the Request Desktop Site box. The YouTube will automatically refresh the page.
4. You will get the YouTube page in the Desktop mode.
5. Now, click on any video on the YouTube, go to your Home screen and open other apps such as Facebook / Instagram. Your session with YouTube will still be there (the music is still on!) and you can also do your FB at the same time! You can lock your phone screen and will still be able to listen to the music!
