How to Remove Excel User Restriction Values in Cell

You are getting below error message when entering words / numbers to the Microsoft Excel cell.

The value you entered is not valid
A user has restricted values that can be entered into this cell

Solution

First of all, you should aware that values restriction happen for reasons. The author might want you to only enter specific information / value and you should follow it.

But, if you are stubborn 🙂 , please try below –

Go to DATA tab and click on the restricted cell. Look for Data Validation and click on it. Now, click on Clear All and OK. It will remove the restrictions from the cell.
