icm/HTTP/admin

Parameter

icm/HTTP/admin

Short text

Specify Web-based administration in ICM

Parameter Description

This is a vector parameter in the format [parameter name]_[index]. You do not need to enter ascending values for the index; that is, you could, for example, configure only icm/HTTP/admin_2.

You can use this parameter to configure the Web-based administration interface.

The parameter has the following syntax: icm/HTTP/admin = PREFIX=[url prefix], DOCROOT=[root directory of administration files] [, AUTHFILE=[file name of authorization file], PORT=[tcp /IP port at which administration requests are accepted], HOST=[host name or IP address at which administration requests are accepted], CLIENTHOST=[/host][host name or IP address from which administration requests are accepted] ]

This is explained below.

PREFIX
URL prefix that is called for this HTTP subhandler (for example, /).

DOCROOT
Root directory of the administration files, such as “./admin”

AUTHFILE
File name of the authorization file, in which the hash values of the passwords for the administration users are stored (default: icmauth.txt) PORT: Local TCP/IP port at which administration requests are accepted.

This port must have been specified with the parameter icm/server_port.

HOST
Local host name or IP address where administration requests are accepted. If you specify “localhost” or “127.0.0.1” here, only local users can use the Web-based interface.

CLIENTHOST
Name or IP address from which admin requests are accepted. This can restrict administration to one client host.
