Solution
Taken from SAP Note 2571678 – Error ‘The program has not found a matching SAINT package’ in SUM,
SCENARIO 1:
The Addon is compatible with target system and some higher version available for the same.
- You select the option “Update the Add-On with SAINT Package” and the package (provided by you) for target release is not correct.
SOLUTION SCENARIO 1:
In this situation ideally the target release of the Addon should have been included in stack xml itself. So You should recheck the steps taken to generate the stack xml and make the correct selections in Maintenance Planner
SCENARIO 2:
The Addon is compatible with target system but with the same level / version which is installed on the source system.
- You still select the option “Update the Add-On with SAINT Package” and provide incorrect package.
SOLUTION SCENARIO 2:
As there is no target release is available and the same version is compatible on target system as well. So follow below steps:
- Select the option “Keep the Add-On with the current version”
- Download the latest ACP package for the Addon.
- Have the package extracted in ../eps/in folder and repeat the module so that the tool scans the directory again to find the package.
