Maintenance Planner: No kernel files available for selected target

You are in the maintenance planner and below message coming out in the phase of “Select OS/DB dependent files”.

Solution

The OS and DB information is missing from the maintenance planner. The maintenance planner need to know the OS and DB information before generating the necessary kernel files for your system.

Refer to SAP Note 2423966 – Maintenance Planner: No kernel files available for selected target. You will need to update the OS and DB information in the transaction code LMDB and perform the sync to the maintenance planner.
