You have downloaded the NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS) 7.5 and you want to install it. Unfortunately, you are getting the below error message,
The Eclipse executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library
Solution
The resolution is shared in SAP Note 2581614 – Missing files when extracting NWDS 7.5.
The issue occurred if you are using Winzip or Windows zip functions. Both tools do not extract the files correctly.
We manage to solve this issue by extracting the file using 7-zip. Alternatively, you can also use Winrar.
