In this exercise, we will guide you on the basic executing the full SAP HANA database backup into the disk. We will be using the SAP HANA Studio to perform the activity.
1. Right click on your SID system, choose Backup and Recovery > Back Up System.
2. Define your selection, the Backup Type (Complete Data Backup), Destination File (File), Backup Destination (Your location of backup) and Backup Prefix (Your backup name).
3. Review the backup settings. Click on Finish.
4. Monitor your progress (I guess no need to monitor since it will take some times!)
5. Your backup is done.
