Diagnosis

An error occurred when checking the output device. Possible reasons:

• The character set of the output device is invalid.
• The definition of the output device in tables TSP03, TSP03C, and TSP03D is inconsistent, for example in table TSP03 the field PATYPE is empty.

This error is usually caused by changes made in spool tables by non-SAP programs.

Procedure

Correct the definition of the output device.
