Parameter
rdisp/addump_period
Short text
Minimum time between two ‘”tatus dumps” raised by calls of function module TH_DUMP_SERVER_STATUS
Parameter Description
The function module TH_DUMP_SERVER_STATUS can be used to prompt a particular server to write particular information to the trace. If you call the parameter with the parameter OPCODE = ‘DP’, the information is stored in the dispatcher’s trace files (dev_disp).
The parmeter rdisp/addump_period specifies the minimum amount of time that must have passed before the server status can be written again. If the parameter has the value 0, no status is written.
Caution:
As of 7.40, the concept of snapshots has been introduced. These are also saved server statuses, but they are:
• Significantly more extensive
• Saved in an archive and can be evaluated by the SAP MC.
Therefore, as of 7.40 SP2, you should use snapshots instead if you want to “save” a server status. For more information, see parameter rdisp/snapshot
