You can use this program, RSGWACLTOOL, the gateway logging files to maintain the gateway ACL. Enter from and to date, selecting the gateway logging files in the defined time period.

The checkbox “System-Wide Search” allows all gateway logging files of all instances in the system to be included.

When you choose “Execute” or F8, a list of gateway logging files is displayed. Select at least one log and choose “Generate ACL Proposal” or F9.
Select the ACL file by clicking on the relevant tab for which you want to view the connection attempts. The results are displayed in a list to the right of the ACL file.

You can find the following information in the “ACL”, “Simulation”, and “Connected” columns:
ACL: Displays whether the connection attempt is already covered by an entry in your local ACL file. The following values are possible:
- – : The connection attempt is not covered by an entry in your
local ACL file. - P : The connection attempt is already covered by a permit entry in your local ACL file. With the where-used function in the icon toolbar, you can display the line or lines in the ACL file of your local RFC gateway.
- D : The connection attempt is already covered by a deny entry in your local ACL file. With the where-used function in the icon toolbar you can display the line or lines in the ACL file of your local RFC gateway.
Simulation: Displays whether the gateway was in simulation mode at the time of the connection attempt. If so, a checkmark is set here.
Connected: Displays whether connection attempt in the respective RFC gateway was successful and permitted.
