We have encountered an error (as below) while performing the update activity using the SAP Software Update Manager.
Sapcontrol path is not valid
Software Update Manager was unable to locate the sapcontrol executable. Please supply it's location below
Error: Error while executing sapcontrol. Executable directory of your SAP system may not be listed in PATH environment variable.
Solution
As error referred, login to your operating system (in this example, it’s Windows) using the sidadm.
Go to the environment variables and make sure the path is correctly maintained i.e. kernel directory.
