SAPOSS: Name or password is incorrect. Please re-enter.

Symptom

You are executing connection test for SAPOSS RFC. Unfortunately, the test is failing due to below error,

Name or password is incorrect. Please re-enter.

Solution

In transaction code SM59, double click on RFC Destination SAPOSS. Jump to Logon & Security tab and switch to change mode. Now, enter the username as oss_rfc and password cpic. Save to activate your changes and do the connection test again. It should be working fine by now.
