Transaction SLDW is the maintenance environment for the generic whitelists used when calling the method CL_SLDW=> CHECK_WHITE_LIST.
In accordance with the typically dynamic and scenario-related character of whitelists, you can place SLDW whitelists into a learning mode (you can control this using the check status).

You can select the lists to be edited on the initial screen of the transaction. The maintenance environment is initially displayed in display mode – you can switch to change mode, if you have sufficient authorizations.
Part of maintaining a whitelist is maintaining its header data and the whitelist entries.
The header data consists of a language-dependent short text, the current check status of the entire whitelist, a link to the associated documentation, and the optional assignment of a whitelist-specific message (transaction SE91).
You can link to language-dependent text modules maintained with transaction SE61 as the documentation for the whitelist. You can also use the text type NT to link to an SAP Note on the SAP Service Marketplace.
The maintenance of whitelist elements includes changing the status of existing elements, recording new elements, and deleting elements.

In particular, during the recording phase, it is preferable to set the status “Element not allowed” than to delete the element, to avoid unintended maintenance iterations.
It is not possible to change the element name or the optional attributes, since both fields are part of the primary key.
When maintaining active whitelist elements, in addition to the whitelist element status the development environment is displayed.
