You have created a new connection in transaction code SM59 with below specifications,
• Connection Type = T
• Technical Settings / Activation Type = Registered Server Program
Other settings are set to default value. But when you do the connection test, below error prompted –

Solution
Go back to the transaction code SM59 and define the value of Program ID for Registered Server Program under Technical Settings tab. Press on Save.
