You are trying to perform a database restoration using the SQL Management Studio and you realized that the “Close existing connections to destination database” is greyed out/disabled.
Solution
I would prefer to call this as a workaround, but yes – I manage to enable the option successfully.
So, the trick is, do not select any backup file from the device first. Instead, you go to Options tab and tick the box.
Then only, you go to General tab to select the backup file from device.
