Unable to reach the remote host spool system
Message no. PO537
Diagnosis
The SAP spool system cannot connect to the host spool system to which the requests for this output device are to be sent.
System Response
Requests sent to this output device cannot be proccessed. They remain in status Waiting.
Procedure
This message usually means that the host you specified under destination host (Host spool access method tab) is either down, or the transfer program SAPLPD (or LPD) is not running on the host.
Procedure for System Administration
Check to determine whether the destination host is on, or whether SAPLPD (or LPD) is running.
Apart from the above checking, you might also need to check the firewall port . Please ensure the port is reachable from your SAP system.
Note: Port 515 is the standard port for printing using the S and U access method.
