You have executed some changes on SAP and you want to assign and save it to a specific transport request. While saving it, below error message comes out,
User USER_A is not involved in request DEVK123456.

Diagnosis
You have selected the request DEVK123456 (user USER_A). However, you are not assigned to request DEVK123456 as a user.
System Response
You cannot use request DEVK123456.
Procedure
You have the following options:
• Choose a request that belongs to you.
Choose Own requests from the request screen to display a list of all requests belonging to you, or for which you are assigned to a task. You can select one of these requests.
• Choose a request for which you are assigned to a task.
• Create a task in request DEVK1234567.
In the request overview of the Transport Organizer (Transaction SE09) you can display all requests of the user USER_B. User USER_B is responsible for the request DEVK1234567.
Choose Add user to add yourself to request DEVK1234567 as a user.
If you do not have the authorization to do this yourself, contact the user responsible for the request, USER_B.
