Limit for a single request to memory
Parameter Description
The value of this parameter specifies the maximum size of one single memory request. You select a value so that the machine does not trigger page faults when accessing within the assigned memory area (value [MB] < physical main memory).
Background
SORT decides on the extended sort if the memory request proves negative.
