CNV_LTHCM_TAB_SEARCH_02: Search for Additional non-HCM Tables

You can use this report CNV_LTHCM_TAB_SEARCH_02 to search for tables that are not included in a specific HCM transfer package.

This program may be particularly useful if you use a SAP LT ERP HCM transformation solution to implement a client transfer. The SAP LT ERP HCM transformation solutions offers certain HCM conversions that are not possible with the transformation solution Client Transfer.

By default the SAP LT ERP HCM transformation solution only selects tables that are typically relevant for an SAP LT ERP HCM data transfer, while the transformation solution Client Transfer selects all non-empty cross-client tables. You can use this program to find additional cross-client tables not yet selected by the HCM package.

Selection

You specify search criteria in order to search for tables. You can specify the following search criteria:

  • HCM Package

HCM packages are those created by SAP Landscape Transformation in order to realize an HCM-related transformation solution that involves the transfer or deletion of data (for example SAP LT ERP HCM System Merge).

You have to restrict the search to an HCM package, that is, only tables from a specific package will be returned by the search. Enter the package number in the HCM Package ID field. Note that you can only use a package that involves the transfer of data (for example SAP LT ERP HCM Split).

You must also specify an RFC destination to the control system so that the report can access the required information about the package.

  • Table Name

The name of the table or tables that you are searching for. Note that if you do not enter any value in this field, the report will return all tables that satisfy the search conditions that you specify using the report.

  • Client Information

You can limit the search to client-specific tables, cross-client tables, or both.

  • Content

You can limit the search to tables that contain content, empty tables, or both.

When you have specified the relevant search criteria, choose Execute.

Output

The system returns a list of the tables that match the search criteria that you specify. You can also view the following information:

  • Whether the table is empty or not.
  • The software package that contains the table.
  • The application component that contains the table.
  • The delivery class of the table.
  • Whether the table is client-specific or cross-client.

Activities

In the output screen, you can navigate to the table definition (transaction SE11) and to the table content (transaction SE16).
