CSMREG is a service user that is recommended for use by CCMS agent programs for reporting data to the monitoring architecture and the alert monitor (transaction code RZ20). You should create CSMREG in all systems at which you wish to register CCMS agents, for example, in your central monitoring system. Additional to that, CSMREG is used for:
• Performing the data collection in the monitored systems.
• Pushing the monitoring data from monitored systems that are connected to the central monitoring system using CCMS agents.
• Registering a System Component Repository (SCR) with a central repository.
1. Go to transaction code RZ21. Choose Technical Infrastructure > Configure Central System > Create CSMREG User. Enter any password for this user.

If errors that indicate to a missing profile occur when creating the user, generate the profile for the role SAP_BC_CSMREG in transaction code PFCG.
