In Windows environment default, the newly installed program will be highlighted from the Start Menu. But, if you want to disable this functionality – follow below steps.
Right click on the taskbar and go to Properties. In the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties, jump to Start Menu tab. Then, click on Customize.
In the Customize Start Menu dialog, deselect the option Highlight newly installed programs. Click OK to apply the change.
