Open and right click on the Windows command prompt. Select Properties.
Under the Options tab, tick the box of QuickEdit Mode (Edit Options). Click OK to save.
So, to try the copy and paste functionality, you just need to highlight the contents from the command prompt, then press Enter (using the keyboard) (or press right click – using mouse). Open the notepad and paste!
