You are performing the cluster failover but ended up getting below error message,
The operation has failed
The action ‘Move’ did not completeError Code: 0x80071398
The operation failed because either the specified cluster node is not the owner of the group, or the node is not a possible owner of the group.
Solution
Click on the role and go to the Resources tab. From here, you will see all the resources e.g cluster disk, instance, services and file server.
As an example, if the cluster failover is failed due to the disk resource. You can double click on the cluster disk and go to the Advanced Policies tab. Ensure both resources are checked.
Click Apply and OK. Then, you can try to perform the failover cluster again.
