There are 2 ways of creating user in SAP HANA database. You can use the SAP HANA Studio or using the command line. If you asked us, definitely we will go for the easiest way which is using SAP HANA Studio.
1. Now, open the SAP HANA studio and login to the HANA database.
2. Select on Security and right click on Users from the drill down. Choose New User.
3. On the right panel, maintain the username and password. You can select the option to Force password change on next logon. By default, it is checked as Yes. You may also leave the validity option unless the user is created for a temporary usage.
4. Next, assign the necessary roles, system / object / analytic / package / application or user privileges based on the user requirements.
5. On the second tab, you will see the User Parameters setting and this is an optional where you can assign the email address, locale, time zone etc. Finally, click on the green arrow icon (F8) to deploye (save) the change.
