By default, whenever you log in onto the Windows 8, you will be directly pass to Windows 8 Start screen. We do believe most of the Windows users are more interested to directly go to the Windows 8 desktop instead of Start screen.
1. Go to Windows 8 desktop. Right click on the taskbar and select Properties.
2. Go to Navigation tab, tick the option for “When I sign in or close all apps on a screen, go to desktop instead of Start”. Click on Apply and OK. Restart the Windows 8 to apply the changes.
