Symptom
In transaction code SM37, you found the job is cancelled because of the Logon of User xxx in Client xxx Failed when Starting a Step.
Solution
Go to transaction code SU01, ensure below checks are met.
• User is not locked
• User is still in validity period
• User is assigned with correct roles and profiles.
