The report RCWB_SNOTE_DWNLD_PROC_CONFIG is use to define the procedure when downloading the SAP Note. This report is applicable when you are downloading from transaction code SNOTE > Goto > Download SAP Note.
Once you execute the report from the transaction code SE38. There are 3 options procedure available.
Remote Function Call (RFC)
The system uses RFC destination SAPOSS or SAPSNOTE, whichever is applicable, to download the digitally signed SAP Note.
HTTP Protocol
The system uses the HTTPS protocol to download the digitally signed SAP Note.
Download Service Application
The system uses the Download Service application to download the digitally signed SAP Note. The download service can be in the same system or Solution Manager (for centralized system). Please see 2554853 – SAP NetWeaver download service for SAP Notes
