Symptom
You noticed that there is a lock icon on the file in your Windows laptop. You want to remove the lock icon completely.
Solution
1. Right click on the file and select Properties.
2. Jump to Security tab. Select Edit. On the prompted screen, select Add.
3. Type “Users” and click on Check Names. Click OK.
4. Highlight on Users and choose Full control. Click on Apply and OK. Click OK again on the next screen. The lock icon will be no longer appear!
