
Symptom
You want to reset SAPJSF password.
Solution
Before you proceed with the SAPJSF password change, please be EXTRA careful to check that if the SAPJSF user is used for other connections or not. All connections that are using SAPJSF user need to be change as well. It is advisable to change the password of SAPJSF in both ABAP and JAVA.
1. Login to your ABAP system. Execute transaction code SU01, fill in SAPJSF and choose Change icon. Go to Logon data tab, change the password there.

2. Login to your J2EE engine operating system. Open the Config Tool. Choose Global server configuration > services > com.sap.security.core.ume.service. Change the password on ume.r3.connection.master.passwd. Please be ensure to set the client correctly at ume.r3.connection.master.client.
