Purpose
When an SAP user is deleted in user management, the relevant BCS user is not deleted directly, but only flagged as ‘deleted’. This is necessary in order to display the user name or other information from the assigned address in existing send requests or documents.
You use transaction SOUD to get an overview of (deleted) BCS users. It also displays the assigned addresses and indicates whether the user is still being used in send requests or documents.
Features
You can perform the following actions at the level of the selected users:
- Delete a BCS user whose SAP user has already been deleted You can only delete active users in user management.
- Display the assigned addresses
- Assign a new company address
You can also start or schedule the report RSBCS_USER_DELETE_JOB, which deletes users that are flagged as deleted and whose address is no longer used.
Selection
You select users by user name, creation date, or assigned company address.
