The report RSBDCREO / RSBDC_REORG does the following,
- Deletes (successfully) processed sessions still in the system and their logs. Only these sessions are deleted and not “sessions still to be processed”, “sessions with errors”, and so on.
- Deletes logs, for which sessions no longer exist.
Technical information for log reorganization
- Logs are stored in the TemSe. You can use transaction SP11 (TemSe administration) to display the logs. Program BDCSYS generates TemSe objects.
- The relationships between batch input sessions and logs and the corresponding TemSe object are stored in database table APQL. This is why batch input logs cannot be reorganized using TemSe reorganization, but must be reorganized using program RSBDC_REORG or transactions SM35/SM35P.
